Presented by Linda Bruce, Didem Gurevin and Monika Neumayer

Join us for a day retreat to reconnect to yourself at the grounds of soulful prairies. Soulful Prairies is one of Chicagoland’s best hidden secrets, it is truly Midwest nature at its best. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with open arms, a farm fresh breakfast of yogurt and granola, followed by an all-levels vinyasa yoga flow and a guided meditation. Shortly a$er, you will get to experience the farm through a farm tour, a gong meditation, and also get a chance to connect with the horses.

Foundations of Vinyasa – Join us in practicing mindful movements through your breath to discover strength and fluidity on your mat. This is an intermediate level asana practice, suitable for beginners.

Mediterranean Breakfast – Join us for “kahvalti”, a new way of experiencing mornings with kaymak, clothed cream, honey, homemade spreads, delightful cheeses, Mediterrenean olives, breakfast salad, homemade breads and more…

  • Linda Bruce
Linda strongly values the seeking of truth and answers to create a full life for oneself. This never-ending process has brought her to a place of combining her social work, counseling, Equine Gestalt Coaching, life and horse experience together. Her passion is bringing humans and horses together to create an environment of discovery while finding the healing powers that exist within each of us. Linda owns and runs Soulful Prairies, located an hour north of Chicago.

    Didem Gurevin
Didem began her journey on her mat five years ago solely to gain physical and mental strength. She found not only that, but also, she discovered an infinite and unavoidable sense of awakening; a strong urge to explore and connect further to self and the universe. In 2016, she received her 200-hour teacher training at CorePower Yoga. Since then, she has been sharing her energy, intuition and understanding of vinyasa yoga -through mindful practices of movement and breath- with her students. She is a proud student of yoga, a humble teacher of yoga, a passionate student of life and a mother of two humans.

    Monika Neumayer
    Monika Neumayer
Monika was introduced to yoga at a the age of 14, the idea of a personal movement based practice with breath as the driving force and focus allowed for her to begin to develop an ever evolving physical and mental awareness. After some time away from her mat she renewed her passion with Vinyasa flow yoga and the community at CorePower Yoga. In 2013 she completed her first 200hr Power Yoga Teacher Training through CorePower Yoga Suburban Chicago. In 2014 Monika began teaching and managing full time at CorePower Yoga in Arlington Heights. Throughout the year of 2017 Monika completed her 300hr Teacher Training through CorePower Yoga. She strives to bring a sense of happiness, truth, inspiration, active engagement and soft flow into her classes. Monika believe’s that on your mat you should never be afraid to smile, laugh, grow and continue learning more about your true self. She believes one of the best things about yoga is that it is a never ending path and journey, you will continue to learn about the practice, the postures and yourself every single step of the way.
