This course is perfect for horse guardians, trainers, and healthcare practitioners.

People will learn the basic protocol for a complete acupressure session, the Traditional Chinese Medicine concepts underlying acupressure, hands-on techniques, and how to begin to develop your own session plans using specific acupressure points.

Introduction to Equine Acupressure takes you through the entire equine acupressure session protocol along with the concepts and theories of Chinese medicine. People will learn Yin-Yang Theory, Meridian Theory, Assessment Techniques and how to select acupressure points for specific conditions. The class includes demonstrations and extensive hands-on exercises with horses.

Kathi has a strong background in animal acupressure and massage. She is a Tallgrass Certified Instructor and Practitioner in Equine and Small Animal Acupressure. Kathi is a graduate of East West Healing Arts Institute and a nationally certified and licensed human massage therapist. She has an active practice in Illinois and Wisconsin where she works on horses, dogs and humans.
