Join us for our second annual EAT FOR GOOD Neighbors Potluck. Not only will it be another great chance to share an evening with those who share your food values, but to hear from and be inspired by a pioneering regenerative Illinois Farmer, Harold Wilken. Harold Wilken is a force of nature who also happens to be an organic grain farmer. He owns Janie’s Farm in Danforth, Illinois as well as The Mill at Janie’s Farm in nearby Ashkum. He farmed conventionally for 23 years before beginning to shift to organic as a way to regenerate life and health in soils. He now raises a wide variety of crops on over 2,000 acres with the help of his son and others.
We’ll provide the venue and the speaker. You bring your plates, utensils, napkins, whatever you’d like to drink for a convivial evening, and a dish to share. There will be no cost but we will pass a jar for travelling expenses for Harold Wilken.
Space will be limited so make your reservation below. We’ll remind you again as we get closer to the date but we hope you’ll be signed up by that time.
