This retreat was created for those of us longing for the kind of deep connection we experienced during our Gestalt training. For many graduates, the sense of belonging and shared time together fades after the program ends. Not only will this be a time for reconnecting and doing personal work if desired, but also an opportunity to find fresh perspectives through the eyes of other Gestaltists.
Whether you have a thriving practice or your feeling stuck or simply treading water this will be an opportunity to find inspiration, grow and be reminded of the beauty at the heart of the Gestalt work. We will, of course, make time for light hearted laughter and fun, too.

The Property
Come enjoy the 80 acre property of Soulful Prairies in Woodstock, Illinois. Take time to retreat in the quiet pines, commune with the fairies in the Fairy Forest, walk the labyrinth and trails and spend time with a horse, a goat, a pig and the natural wildlife on the property. There is so much of Soulful Prairies to enjoy and explore.
Accommodations
Your overnight accommodations will be in the Guest Suites on the lower level of the Main House or in the historic 1830’s log cabin. Accommodations are single or double occupancy.
The four shabby-chic bedrooms of the Guest Suites share two full bathrooms and a cozy common sitting area with kitchenette amenities. You will also have access to the Pasture View Lounge where you can relax and view the herd wander the back pastures of the property.
Go back in time while staying in our historic log cabin. The three upstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom, full kitchen, and sitting area on the first floor. Enjoy visiting your Cabin “neighbors,” our Soulful Prairies chickens, goats and pig.

Linda Bruce
Linda owns and runs Soulful Prairies. As an Equine Gestalt Practitioner, her passion is bringing humans and horses together to create an environment of self-discovery. When she is not seeing clients, she offers other healing services to the visitors at Soulful Prairies. Learn more about Linda here!
kelli Lanphere
Kelli Lanphere lives on a one-acre ranchette in SW Lakewood with her family, three horses, two dogs, and a cat. A dual certified Touched By a Horse EGCM and GCM Practitioner and Licensed Equine Facilitator, she is also co-founder of Hope Through Horse Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to sharing the healing power of horses and transformative coaching. Through Inspired Cowgirl Coaching, she partners with her horses to help women get unstuck, connect with their intuition, and begin living an inspired life.
Kellie grill
Kellie Grill is a Master Equine Gestaltist, Professional Speaker, and best-selling Author who specializes in Happiness. She lives on 40 acres in Wilsonville, OR with her husband Dave and 31 furbabies (15 of them are horses). She is a 14 year melanoma survivor. She and Dave have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
Brenda westwood
Brenda Westwood, Master Equine Gestaltist™ and longtime Touched by a Horse Program Coach, is located in West Central Montana where she loves to inspire others to find the courage to heal and grow, build confidence to claim their worth and to live their Grit with Grace.
