My one-woman show has expanded by leaps and bounds over the years. Our crew is made up of family, tradespeople, clients, clinicians, and friends who have helped move us forward, past and present.
Soulful Prairies would not be what it is today without our gifted crew. When people stay the night at Soulful Prairies, I put a chocolate bar on their pillow with a message that says, “Thanks for being a part of the Soulful Prairies story” Every visitor adds to the story. What started small has since grown because of the unique blend of people and energy that passes through our gates.

Linda
Linda is a Double Certified Equine Gestalt Practitioner and the owner of Soulful Prairies. She created this place for people to experience the healing properties of nature and Equine Gestalt Therapy, and those who embark on this journey with her are guided to finding peace and answers within themselves. With a background in social work and counseling, and decades of horsemanship, she brings experience and passion to her work with our clients.
Alex
Alex manages the 80 acres of restored prairie, and takes care of our horses and other critters. With marketing and business management degrees, and the last decade spent working in the corporate world, Alex came to Soulful Prairies excited for a change of pace and new challenge. While most of his day is spent taking care of the property, he values the time spent bonding with our animals and ensuring this peaceful place is well kept for all who come through the gates.
Kimberly
Kimberly is a long-time friend. Linda went to her in the beginning and asked if she might temporarily help with some of the financial systems of the business. She jumped in and what was initially meant to be a few months turned into ten years. Kimberly brings a strong background in accounting, operations, and leadership to Soulful Prairies. Passionate about community-focused work, she’s proud to support the mission of Soulful Prairies while enjoying life in Chicago with her family and cheering on the Cubs.
Casey
Casey is, first and foremost, Linda’s son. But he also stepped up as our Social Media and Marketing Director. He has tightened our branding and brought a calm “we will figure it out” attitude to our team and all that he does. Casey brings both creativity and strategy to Soulful Prairies, with a marketing degree from the University of Iowa and several years of media experience at Discovery Network. Also a musician and audio engineer/producer at a Chicago studio, Casey blends artistic passion with professional insight to help share the heart of Soulful Prairies with the wider community.
Morgan
Morgan stepped right in, understanding the culture and needs of our team. She is creative and has helped Linda find balance and ease in every day. Morgan is a great fit for our team, bringing her business support experience in the financial sector, along with her passion for mental health advocacy. She plays a supporting role in local marketing, outreach, and organizing. When not at Soulful Prairies, Morgan stays engaged with local community efforts and enjoys time with her family.
