Letting Go

Returning to Your Essence

Letting Go: June 21st - 26th

Bonanza Creek is a place where you can let go. Join retreat participants as you ride on a gorgeous, 25,000-acre Montana ranch and discover personal strengths while connecting with fellow guests and the horses – all in a natural environment that is conducive to inner exploration and growth.

A riding retreat and participants should be experienced riders with the ability to canter outside an arena.

The horses, living in open-acreage herds, bring an opportunity for each individual to experience Equine Gestalt work at its fullest.  Participants will find a unique connection between Equine Gestalt group work in the morning followed by the balance with nature and their horses in the afternoon as they ride through the breathtaking landscape. While engaging in group sessions of the Gestalt Therapeutic Model, you’ll work side by side with horses that provide grounding support in uncovering and processing personal insights.

Linda will host a Zoom gathering a month ahead of the retreat in order to meet other guests, ask questions and gather more information. Additionally, Linda will reach out after the retreat with another Zoom gathering to reconnect and reflect.

The Property

Bonanza Creek is a family operated, 25,000-acre cattle ranch in the Castle Mountains of Martinsdale, Montana. There are acres of open meadows, rugged hills, wooded areas, and a sparkling creek. With expansive views of the Montana Rockies and lush vegetation, it is a haven for nature lovers. There’s lots of room to ride and reflect within the backdrop of Big Sky Country. Conclude your days under Montana’s famously clear night skies and enjoy a magical evening of stargazing.

Overnight accommodations will be in one of the four western-furnished, rustic cabins on the ranch, a combination of Montana simplicity and comfort. Accommodations are single, double and triple occupancy, each a unique experience. Bonanza Creek Accomodations

The premise of Gestalt is that we hold our own answers within and we are completely whole as we presently are. Linda’s Gestalt Practice allows clients to tap into their innate sense of who they are, through awareness. Often, unfinished business from an individual’s past can continue to create a reactionary state within. Through the experiential Gestalt process, this energy can be transformed and clients find the freedom to reconnect with their own inherent truth and wisdom.

June Voldseth

June Voldseth started Bonanza Creek Guest Ranch in 1993. It was a way for her to spend time with two of her passions, horses and people. But life stepped in with much more. Not only has the guest ranch been a fun adventure, but a learning, inspiring, empowering, life changing one. At the perfect time, along came awareness of the Touched By A Horse life coaching program and the opportunity to truly make Bonanza Creek a place to learn to live your dreams.
