Ann Marie / Clay Workers guild

The Clayworkers' Guild is a non profit organization of craftsmen and artists who use clay as an expressive medium. The guild aids, encourages, advises, and works together to support clayworker member endeavors.

Haley + Hazel

Demo Description: Throwing Mud
This demo will focus on throwing on the wheel and the step by step process. Wheel throwing is a technique used by potters to create ceramic objects on a pottery wheel. It involves using a pottery wheel that spins, allowing the potter to shape and mold the clay into various forms.

Experiential Offering: Collaborative Pottery
Each participant will receive a small piece of clay to shape into something that reflects their own creativity, and will add it to the collaborative pottery work that will be taking form throughout the day.

Homestead Saunas

Demo Description: Cleanse the Body, Cleanse the Spirit
Gloria will speak on how wood fired saunas benefit all parts of your being- physical, mental and spiritual. You will learn a variety of ways to engage in thermal bathing, both in the sauna and within the comfort of your home.

Experiential Offering: Nature's Medicine
Intentionally working with plant allies, we will attune to our inner world, and create a symbiotic relationship with plants around us. Gather a variety of wild medicinal and edible botanicals readily available on Soulful Prarie’s land (and most likely in your area also!). We will review their benefits and properties, and also enjoy a lovely naturally cooling herbal infusion made from organic & foraged plants.

Promiseland Farm

Demo Description: Presence & Healing
As the creative heart behind Promiseland Farm, owner Kellyann invites guests to interact with 2 calm goats, for guests to interact with, explaining the source of her quality and soaps and lotions. Whether someone is cuddling a baby goat, watching horses run through the grass at sunset, or simply pausing to enjoy the scent of lavender goat milk lotion, Kellyann believes healing often happens in the quiet moments — the moments that remind us we were created to rest, create, connect, and be fully present.

Experiential Offering: Calming Through the Senses
Kellyann invites guests to join in a goat milk hand ritual experience with calm music and slow breathing . This is a place where visitors can take a moment to connect to the touch and smell of the lotion, and tune-in to nature's sounds, music, and feel renewal through breathwork.

SheDoughs

Demo Description: Slow Bread, Strong Body

Discover why sourdough is more than a trend; it's a return to how bread was meant to be made. Julie will share her knowledge of the ways natural fermentation supports gut health, makes nutrients easier to absorb, and can be gentler on digestion than conventional bread -- all while tasting better.

Experiential Offering: Art of The Score Every score on a sourdough loaf is part function, part signature — a tradition dating back to communal village ovens, where your cut was how you claimed your bread. Julie will demonstrate the beautiful craft of bread scoring — the intentional cuts that are functional as well as beautiful, made just before baking that control how the loaf opens in the oven. You'll see how different slashes, angles, and patterns transform into the signature designs on a finished crust, from simple ears to intricate wheat stalks. Then, try it for yourself - score your own loaf pattern!
