Wild Stillness (Sold Out)

Connecting to the wisdom within the Herd

Wild Stillness: May 30th - May 31st

This first-time retreat was born from true passion in the year of bold fire horse energy and a rare blue moon. I believe we find profound insights when we slow down in the presence of horses, surrounded by nature. Wild stillness is all about discovering through the eyes of a horse, as we become immersed in the herd. On this overnight retreat, we will spend all of our waking hours in the stillness of the pasture and horses. You will be held in a warm, nurturing environment, free from expectations, where observation, enjoyment, and discovery unfold at their own pace.

This is an experiential process and horses are at free will to interact with clients throughout the session. No horse or riding experience necessary.

We invite you to join us for a unique and meaningful gathering, full of rare transformation.

By observing the quiet yet clear communication of the horses, you will gain insights and discover the powerful energy that lies within.

We will take individual time for journaling and connection with the herd. There will also be structured time for sharing meals and connection, engaging in sound healing meditation and creating nature inspired art.

Linda will host a Zoom gathering a month ahead of the retreat in order to meet other guests, ask questions and gather more information.

The Property

Come enjoy the 80 acre property of Soulful Prairies in Woodstock, Illinois. Take time to retreat in the quiet pines, commune with the fairies in the Fairy Forest, walk the labyrinth and trails and spend time with a horse, a goat, a pig and the natural wildlife on the property. There is so much of Soulful Prairies to enjoy and explore.

Your overnight accommodations will be in the Guest Suites on the lower level of the Main House. Accommodations are single or double occupancy.

The four shabby-chic bedrooms of the Guest Suites share two full bathrooms and a cozy common sitting area with kitchenette amenities. You will also have access to the Pasture View Lounge where you can relax and view the herd wander the back pastures of the property.  More about Soulful lodging.

You will be served simple nutritious and healthy meals which will include produce and products from the property. Upon arrival on Sunday, we will have a simple morning snack. Lunch and dinner will be a homemade meal that will come from our pasture cooler and we will end our evening with a late full moon snack. The premise of Gestalt is that we hold our own answers within and we are completely whole as we presently are. Linda’s Gestalt Practice allows clients to tap into their innate sense of who they are, through awareness. Often, unfinished business from an individual’s past can continue to create a reactionary state within. Through the experiential Gestalt process, this energy can be transformed and clients find the freedom to reconnect with their own inherent truth and wisdom.
