Konni Vukelic is the founder of Three Bees, a biodynamic beekeeping operation with over 14 years of beekeeping experience and 11 years teaching and mentoring. She views the hive as a medicine chest and educates from the perspective that bees are our best teachers. Three Bees currently operates 47 colonies hosted by local organic farms throughout northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin, producing raw local honey and hive-based wellness products using all-organic methods.
At Soulful Prairies, Konni is expanding into medicinal beekeeping—a higher standard of hive stewardship focused on cleaner ecosystems, mindful hive placement, selective breeding, and chemical-free practices. This approach uses unpainted boxes, eliminates plastics, prioritizes natural brood cavities, and ensures maximum traceability and integrity.
