Ground yourself deeper into the freedom your soul is yearning for. Feel the powerful energy of the Freedom Reigns herd while watching them on the lush, green hills of this 3,800-acre horse sanctuary in San Juan Bautista, California. This retreat is an opportunity to rebalance and reconnect with yourself as you observe hundreds of horses in their natural surroundings.
This is an experiential process and horses are at free will to interact with clients throughout the session. No horse or riding experience necessary.
Spending your days immersed in the transformational, experiential Gestalt process, you’ll connect as a group and take time to unwind and reflect in the natural beauty of the sanctuary amongst the wild herds. Through observation of the horses, you will gain new perspectives. And while working alongside Linda, you’ll observe the wild horses and engage with this breathtaking land to unleash the freedom within.
Linda will host a Zoom gathering a month ahead of the retreat in order to meet other guests, ask questions and gather more information. Additionally, Linda will reach out after the retreat with another Zoom gathering to reconnect and reflect.
The Property
Freedom Reigns is a 3,800 acre horse sanctuary in San Juan Bautista, California. The serene sanctuary connects guests to the natural habitat for the rescued horses. Over 500 wild horses roam freely, where they choose their friends and herd mates.
Accommodations
Turn in for the night in a gorgeous, traditional tepee under the California night sky. Guests will enjoy tranquil lodging surrounded by rolling hills. The sanctuary’s mission centers on providing a refuge for horses in need, creating a peaceful and healing space for both animals and guests. The accommodations here are designed for reflection and grounding, enhancing the retreat experience with views of the horses in their natural habitat, set against a backdrop of California’s picturesque landscapes.
Meals
Delicious, gourmet vegetarian meals from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch provided by a local chef.
Other details
Experience with horses is not necessary and no riding is involved.
Maximum attendance, 8 women.

Freedom Reigns Horse Sanctuary is located 40 minutes west of Monterey and an hour north of Big Sur, California. Extend your trip and explore the pacific coast and the scenic views of Highway 1.
The premise of Gestalt is that we hold our own answers within and we are completely whole as we presently are. Linda’s Gestalt Practice allows clients to tap into their innate sense of who they are, through awareness. Often, unfinished business from an individual’s past can continue to create a reactionary state within. Through the experiential Gestalt process, this energy can be transformed and clients find the freedom to reconnect with their own inherent truth and wisdom.
